As a Business Information Expert (BIE) compliance your main roles & responsibilities involve

  • Capture business and regulatory information requirements from business process and reporting perspective from BPOs and BPEs and information experts in Compliance domains such as risk management, privacy, quality & regulatory, export control etc.

  • Capture business and regulatory information requirements from business process and reporting perspective from BPOs and BPEs and information experts in Sectors/ Markets/Functions.

  • Define and document information domain models using standard notations and validate them with BPO/BPEs

  • Info. models include: master data models, transaction data standards, metadata for unstructured content and performance measurement models (e.g. KPI and visualization standards, libraries, and solutions), hierarchies, classifications and data flows

  • Ensure data quality from a model, process and change management perspective, including End2End consistency of information models in cooperation with other BIEs

  • Supports in securing approvals and managing the change control process

  • Own, define and implement business and data rules for data quality supported by data quality team.

  • Supports the definition of the domain roadmap including requirements, design, implementation and deployment

  • Works with IT to align with the application & platform roadmap and with transformation managers to align with the business transformation programs

  • Assist in enforcing adherence to agreed models/ ways of working and change control

  • Identify and promote continuous improvement opportunities to capture value from information on process, performance management and advanced analytics levelsCore competencies expected:

We are aiming to setup a comprehensive approach for Philips globally. As the BIE Compliance you are tasked to bring the worlds of information and compliance together so that Philips can make information and insights based decisions on compliance and risk. This will ultimately have a direct impact on how we management compliance and hence has attention from top management.

You are responsible for

· Capturing business and regulatory information requirements from business process and reporting perspective from Business Process Owners (BPO) and BPEs and information experts in Compliance domains, such as risk management, privacy, quality & regulatory, export control etc as well as in Sectors/ Markets/Functions.

· Defining and documenting information domain models using standard notations and validate them with BPO/BPEs

o Info. models include: master data models, transaction data standards, metadata for unstructured content and performance measurement models (e.g. KPI and visualization standards, libraries, and solutions), hierarchies, classifications and data flows

You are a part of

A team that supports the businesses, markets and functions define their information strategy, data organization and data architecture. Without this team, the rest of the company would not have a comprehensive, overarching data strategy.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

· Education equivalent to College Degree in information management, Business information or Business Administration, Law or comparable. Ideal candidate would have a combination of law and business information background.

· Preferably 7-10 years of related work experience,

· Demonstrated project management capability and experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Demonstrated information management capability and experience with knowledge of information domains, information modeling, business administration, and translating information requirements into information models. If you have previous experience with data tools and data modeling that is considered an advantage.

· Experience in leading change

· Strong stakeholder management with experience of reporting into senior management

· Very good influencing skills and to get work done through influence as you will have to work with many functions
