Philips Internship: Marketing Management Male Grooming (thesis possible) in Eindhoven, Netherlands

Your responsibilities

  • Support the Male Grooming Marketing Manager in realizing the business targets

  • Responsible for the local market, competition, shopper and consumer analysis to help you determine your marketing strategy based on the consumer decision journey

  • Actively participate in the launch of a new category

  • Analyze the business and market results and initiate corrective actions where needed;

  • Do this by teaming up with colleagues, ensuring good communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

We expect you to:

  • Understand business dynamics and strategy of the male grooming category

  • Develop meaningful insights based upon existing tools (eg. GFK, Nielsen, Sales data) to co-develop future marketing strategies and adjust current ones

  • Be responsible for one specific marketing or promotional campaign which will be determined at the start of the internship

Your team

Our offer

  • We’ll be working on running projects, but if you would like to write your thesis as well, it can be discussed

  • Minimum 6 months

  • We prefer students able to start per April/May 2017

Internship conditions:

  • Students on work placement or final-year study assignment are paid a work placement or final-year study assignment allowance.

  • A student on a work placement or final-year study assignment is paid an allowance towards rented accommodation, depending on his/her situation. This will be determined setting up the Intern Contract.

  • A student on work placement or final-year study assignment who can prove that he/she is not entitled to a student card for public transport (OV-studentenkaart) is paid an allowance to cover the cost of travel between home and the place of work in accordance with the Conditions of Employment Guideline.

  • The student is entitled to paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.

  • Opportunity to buy Philips products with tax benefit (Philips MyShop)

We are looking for

To be successful in this internship we are looking for you:

  • Currently studying towards your Bachelor/Master in:

  • Business Administration

  • (International) Business Management

  • Management Sciences

  • Marketing

  • Are fluent in both Dutch and English is a must, French is a plus

  • Have next competences: analytical, pragmatic, pro-active, creative, dedicated, eye for detail, strong interpersonal skills, great team player

  • Affinity with Fashion, Lifestyle

  • Previous internship experience at a FMCG-company, or with other company in consumer marketing is a plus
