The IT Procurement Leader will manage the IT procurement by leveraging innovation of the supply base to enhance competitiveness. S/he will lead and manage all Procurement Engineering activities for IT & EIM. S/he will understand the end to end value chain of IT, the transformations being driven and will deliver business strategy including strategic cost management vision. S/he will be a member of the IT Leadership team and ensure that they can access all Procurement activities. They deliver added value by bringing the entire Procurement Network to the equation.

You are responsible for

  • Establishing long term (+5 yrs) procurement strategy for assigned business scope

  • Responsible for Transformation of IT EIM procurement to make and sustain the deal making, processing, and continuity

  • Leading all Category Heads for IT/EIM Procurement

  • Meeting all IT related Procurement objectives

  • Responsible to manage and build a network of senior IT and healthtech suppliers with a good global outreach

  • Achieving Cost reduction through new partnerships, consolidation of contracts

  • Demonstrating Leadership & Vision to support IT objectives (short term & long term)

  • Ensuring that IT Procurement related risks (cost, quality & availability) are controlled and mitigated

  • Aligning Technology & Transformation roadmaps with suppliers

  • Managing development of Target Cost models

  • Managing standardization and complexity reduction

  • Global scope - influence on 600 million Euros of spend

Competencies:

Functional – Conflict Management, Creativity, Decision Making, Negotiation, Organizational Agility, Priority Setting and Building Effective teams

Technical – Managing suppliers during large transformations, Leading DfX, Budget Planning, Product Development, AOP in Procurement

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience​

  • Masters degree related to Technology/Procurement

  • 15-20 years of experience managing global teams

  • Thought Leadership in Cost modelling and Value Engineering Processes

  • Experience in Technology related suppliers
