Be responsible one of our key strategic customers in the Personal Health business, you are offered an attractive balance of strategic customer account management and hands-on activity for one of the leading retailers within the Dutch market. Do you have what it takes to make your customer successful?

You are responsible for

Drive the Philips Personal Health portfolio together with your customer. You have an in-depth understanding of the customer strategy and define an account strategy that drives profitable high growth opportunities both for Philips as for the customer but also operationally managing the execution.

As Key Account Manager you will:

  • Be a strategic partner to your key-account on store level

  • Develop, maintain and improve the relationship with one of Philips’ strategic customers and key player within the Dutch market for consumer electricals

  • Be responsible for driving the business results (topline and profitability) for your account and meet financial targets

  • Create, manage and drive account plans in which budgeted targets are translated into specific strategy and actions

  • Interact on a regular basis with our marketing teams and ensure successful product launches and Go2Market strategy

  • Systematically analyze and report sales results, expectations, market, competition and trends to make proposals for improvement

You are a part of

You will be part of the Dutch sales team, a dedicated group of Key Account Managers, within the Personal Health business. You will be working in a network of various stakeholders based in the Netherlands (e.g., consumer marketing team, central communication team, market intelligence specialists, trade shopper specialists). You will be working closely together with other Key Account Managers on the same account who are driving the results on store and Head Office level whereas you are mainly focused on store level.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor or Master degree is a must have

  • Sales experience – especially on Holding level; but with willingness to manage stores as well in the beginning

  • Experience in strategic account management in FMCG or electricals

  • Functional leading the account team

  • Strategic, long-term thinking and planning but also operationally driving the daily business

  • Strong in building relationships and capable of opening doors

  • Data-driven, analytical skills

  • Capable of translating customer strategies

  • Experience in Marketing or Trade Shopper Marketing is a big pro
