The Managing Consultant Development Management Practice will actively contribute to the strategic priorities and sustainable & profitable turnover for the Industry Consulting group within Philips Innovation Services by creating & delivering value add consulting services to Philips and external customers. Your main responsibilities are:
Generate profitable turnover by actively managing the acquisition process of the team and leveraging your network to spot new opportunities and convert them into projects
Develop and maintain multi-level contacts with your current and potential clients to identify new or follow-on opportunities.
Manage and drive the sales funnel of the practice.
Initiate customer visits to evaluate project and team performance.
Actively participate in the strategy development & deployment of the Industry Consulting group.
Translate business opportunities into concrete projects, services and competences required.
Ensure that there are adequate resources & tools at the right moment.
Monitor project progress and take corrective actions if needed.
Play an active part in project teams if required.
Keep track of developments in your practice and continuously improve our service propositions.
Ensure adequate staffing, remuneration, performance appraisals.
Maintain the high level of our competences, clear procedures & ways of working.
Provide coaching & guidance to your team.
Maintain & advance a culture of teamwork, responsibility & customer orientation.

Depending on experience, a year salary (fulltime) between €79000,-and €102000,- (including personal benefits package)

We are looking for
You are a pragmatic, seasoned professional or consultant with a Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business, with at least 15 years of experience in a high-tech and global development environment, with a proven track record in the areas of R&D, Product and Software Development, and Engineering.
You have a proven track record in successfully managing teams.
You have up-to-date and practical knowledge of the leading concepts, approaches, and methodologies in Product Development Processes and Organizing Innovation and R&D, such as Lean in Development, Agile, Scrum and Scaled Agile, Design for Excellence, Design for Six Sigma and Open Innovation, plus the proven ability to put them into practice.
You have proven commercial and acquisition skills
You are a motivated self-propelling person with the determination to succeed and the ability to manage change.
You have a wide network within your profession, at senior and executive levels.
You have the drive and initiative to be pro-active in developing new business.
You have the maturity and self-confidence to operate at senior and executive levels as well as shop-floor levels. As a strong and compelling communicator you easily connect to your customers and the stakeholders.
You are customer oriented and experienced in managing professionals with a belief in continuous learning.
You are fluent in Dutch and English and willing to travel between 25 and 50% of your time.
