Your responsibilities

  • Plan the project and ensure it remains aligned with ongoing business case.

  • Manage the project so that the expected end product is produced.

  • Delegate and monitor project roles.

  • Control the project budget and project progress, evaluates all project initiatives as to feasibility, costs/benefits and added value, takes corrective actions when necessary and generates adequate reporting.

  • Present project plans & status updates to the Project Board for consensus & decision making

  • Ensure relevant stakeholders remain informed, engaged and committed as per stakeholder analysis.

  • Direct employees and gives them operational guidance, both technically and organizationally (if applicable)

  • Report on employees’ performance to the hierarchical superior of the employees for the purpose of appraisal and makes proposals for training (if applicable)

  • Participate in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.

  • Ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.

  • Ongoing responsibility for leading major projects that impact activities/operation of a business.

We are looking for

  • Minimum 8 years’ of experience and a Master’s degree; or minimum 5 years’ experience and a PhD.

  • Progressive experience in Finance functional roles.

  • Knowledgeable of project management methodologies. Experience with PRINCE2 is preferred. Experience with Lean Six Sigma is desired.

  • E2E knowledge on Procurement and Finance (preferred).

  • Relevant experience in the process optimization and re-engineering domain, either in Philips or external.

  • Proven track record in managing implementation of projects and motivation of teams.

  • Good coordination and alignment skills.

  • Business fluency in English (written & verbal).
