Philips Contract Administrator - Paralegal in Framingham, Massachusetts

Administer contract requests from start to finish, including:

  • Critically analysis request to ensure complete information

  • Confirm required approvals

  • Draft contract using proper template and within established service time frames

  • Review, analyze and respond to requests for revisions and identify exceptions for review by manager

  • Finalizes contract for presentation to customers

  • Facilitates signatures

  • Distribute executed contracts to internal customers

  • Perform contract compliance for assigned customers

  • Maintains PeopleSoft/Contract Databases for contract management.

  • Maintain and revise, as required, contract templates at the direction of the Manager.

  • Prepare and review General Contractor contracts in support of Senior Living business, including collection of required supporting documentations.

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with key contacts, recommending innovative yet practical solutions to contract issues.

  • Participate in audits of contracts for Sarbanes Oxley or other internal audits.

  • Participate in value driver process improvement initiatives and demonstrate the use of quality improvement in daily operations.

  • Maintain PeopleSoft pricing as assigned to ensure accurate pricing compliance, including critical analysis of existing contracts to establish appropriate pricing or pricing adjustments.

  • Develop areas of expertise and company knowledge to improve customer service and meet department objectives. Gather and review information to assist with the development of department objectives.

  • Perform other similar and related duties as required or as directed.

Under general supervision and at the discretion of the Manager, successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of contract administration on assigned programs. Candidate will perform contract work that is of a substantive nature, requiring education, legal knowledge, creativity in problem solving and independent judgment.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • College degree, Paralegal degree or equivalent experience or education required.

  • Minimum of 2 year of related work experience is preferred.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to positively influence the many diverse interests of all contract negotiations

  • Perform routine audits of contracts, fees and current service

  • Time Management, prioritization and follow-through

  • Microsoft Office Suite skills including: Outlook, Word, Excel and Access
