Philips Designer, Interaction Design in Framingham, Massachusetts

You will lead user experience and design projects within our Home Monitoring team with responsibility for both the creative process to generate new ideas and concepts as well as the final design assets and deliverables that will have a direct impact on the quality of strategic products and marketing efforts.

You will thrive on working in cross functional teams across both business and marketing roles to influence the direction of projects, always championing the needs of our customers and end users.

Your Responsibilities

· Provide design support to established and emerging applications and products

· Collaborate effectively with product leads across the business

· Provide consultative guidance and expertise on website, application and product design (content, workflows, systems, etc.)

· Produce design assets including experience flows, wireframes, visual comps and assets

· Advise leadership on user experience and design best practice

Requirements

Education and experience:

· Master / Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: visual design, graphic arts, human factors, industrial design, service design

· Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant working experience

Professional:

· Excellent design skills, including sketching, prototyping and testing

  • Experience with working in cross-functional Agile teams to design digital experiences that meet business objectives

  • Experience with user research, information architecture, wireframing, rapid prototyping, interface design, and product development

  • Experience supporting client business senior managers and executives in workshops and deliverable presentations

  • Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Able to demonstrate technical, creative and business understanding and insight

· Knowledge of the client's Brand identity

· Good business command of the English language (both written and spoken)
