Philips Project Manager - Client Service in Franklin, Tennessee

The Multivendor Project Manager possesses extensive knowledge and understanding of the Customer Services business and Multivendor portfolio; managing/consulting proposal and RFP development, from concept to expiration, for Multivendor agreements within the Customer Order Fulfillment Center; manages the life-cycle from start to finish for all Multi-Vendor Contracts within service sales zone responsibility, and/or as assigned.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, price, design and create budgetary and/or service proposals and bid solutions.

  • Analyze, coordinate and package timely and accurate responses to RFPs ensuring they are answered in the best interests of Philips and adhere to all firm requirements of the customer as agreed by Philips; in depth understanding of T&Cs, Pricing and Serviceability and coordination with internal teams is necessary for accurate responses.

  • Review Proposal request Forms (PRF) for inaccuracy and out of scope requirements.

  • Facilitate all aspects of the Multi-Vendor Contracts for the Multivendor Business Managers (MVBM) and Service Sales Specialists (SSS).

  • Create proposal and presentation binders for the MVBM and SSS.

  • Utilize funnel data to drive forecasted opportunities with Sales to proactively influence renewal capture rates.

  • Prepare key analytic data to develop and design solutions, contributing towards the overall sales strategy to best meet customers’ needs throughout the life of the agreements.

  • Utilize critical thinking to analyze complex contract requirements, special provisions, pricing, internal approvals, and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations and corporate policies.

  • Act as a consultant with Sales on alternative options and provide guidance of requirements.

  • Communicate on contract policies and practices to the internal business teams.

  • Attention to detail ensuring that contract review, approval and execution are in accordance with corporate policies and pricing guidelines.

  • Maintain knowledge of cross functional processes and quality impact throughout the value chain.

  • Work with business partners to streamline processes and create cross-functional partnerships.

  • Manage increasingly competing priorities and deadlines, providing outstanding support to our internal partners and external customers.

  • Support teammates with workload volume when availability arises.

  • Evaluate risk, accuracy, and completeness of the solution to ensure proper contract entitlement.

  • Maintain a winning partnership with Sales and other internal teams to ensure continuous alignment with joint goals and objectives.

  • Explore growth opportunities between Sales and Multivendor Project Managers to assist in delivering superior customer value through the Multivendor service contract process.

  • Challenge yourself and others to find new ways for positively affecting the team, the customer, and the business.

  • Participate in or lead project development and execution for continuous improvement.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate is a strong independent contributor that works very well in a team environment. They are also proactive, have strong leadership, demonstrate good analytical and problem solving skills, are detail-oriented and have experience in supporting a high-volume sales team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience is highly desirable

  • Two to four years of experience in sales support within a customer service and or proposal development environment

  • Passion for customer service and operational excellence

  • Excellent and concise oral and written communication skills

  • Use of effective communication and listening skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with positive attitude

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to constant change

  • Strong organizational skills with aptitude for detail.

  • Ability to use good judgment and make confident decisions to align with defined policies and procedures.

  • Knowledge of Philips Healthcare products and industry standards is desirable

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision on day-to-day activities, maintaining a high degree of integrity

  • Knowledge of Lean/Kaizen methodology is desirable

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Word and Excel) is required.

  • Intermediate math skills and business acumen are required.

  • Working knowledge of SAP and Salesforce.com is desired

  • Eagerness to take on new tasks/responsibilities; drive to develop and share best practices
