Philips Sourcing Specialist - Parts in Franklin, Tennessee
We challenge you as a Sourcing Specialist – Parts to respond to customer service parts and purchased services requests called into the center which could be received by SAP workflow, Multi-Vendor Parts email box, Salesforce, and via phone. Maintain effective communications with customers, managers, and vendors throughout parts events. Procure appropriate parts and approvals efficiently in order to resolve service parts issues in a timely manner. Issue purchase orders following established processes. Understand, review, and manage your personal performance metrics to maintain acceptable productivity. Communicate and follow up on parts delivery and keep appropriate personnel informed on all delivery. Escalate parts issues to the manager when necessary, maintain customer and vendor relations with a high degree of customer satisfaction. Manage customer service activity as required by contract.
Strategic materials sourcing
Develop relationships with vendors
Issue Purchase Orders
Work closely with field and vendors on disputes
Seek field approvals per established processes
Review and drive weekly achievement metrics
Has a strong working knowledge of Microsoft products with the ability to insure department readiness for FDA, internal audits and ICS compliance.
Independent operator who can make decisions that meet the departmental goals and intent without constant supervision
Handles multiple conflicting business problems simultaneously under time constraints.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
You will report directly to the Sourcing Spervisor in the Multi-Vendor business unit. The position is based out of Franklin, TN.

We are looking for
The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills education and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or equivalent work experience
Experience using SAP
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
5+ years of purchasing experience which should include some level of supervision
