Philips Saeco, market leader in Coffee system for full automatic coffee machines, is looking for a talented Operations Controller in Gaggio Montano (BO).

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Finance & Accounting organization as controller for Gaggio Montano Production Center.

In this role:

  • You drive and grow business value by setting and achieving financial and strategic targets for the factory.

  • You ensure financially sound decision making by participating in the Management Team, to deliver meaningful interpretation and decision support based on services and analytics from FP&A resources (Forecasting, Planning & Analysis)

  • You ensure factory productivity by controlling its business planning process.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 3 business analysts

  • Sign off the financials of the Factory (ORU)

  • Drive and achieves cost price roadmaps and delivers planned productivity.

  • Responsible for business planning process (budget and rolling forecasts), financial reporting & analysis and performance dashboard / reviews.

  • Lead the financial monitoring of the factory and the implementation / tracking of corrective actions. Execute and manage variance analysis, investment decisions, balance sheet management and decision support.

  • Implement a framework of adequate business controls (ICS/SOX) with proper follow up and documentation

  • Implement and monitors adherence to the General Business Principles.

  • Take responsibility for project control

  • Business integrity: adherence to FCPA and GBP in coop. with Legal & HR

  • Execute risk management (including Fx impact, hedging )

To succeed in this role, you should have

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Business, Economics, Finance and/or Accounting orientated study

  • 6-7 years of working experience with financial control, cost accounting, management reporting and business analyses in a production/factory environment

  • Proven accounting background and demonstrated understanding of financial basics (US GAAP, IFRS, PAP).

  • Experience with Internal Control, specifically Sarbanes Oxley legislation.

  • Advanced skills in ERP (SAP FI-CO), Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge and adherence of FCPA,GBP, ICS/SOX

  • Self-motivated and drive for results mindset
