We now have an exciting opportunity for a Business Marketing Manager to join our Health Systems business to be responsible for Medical Consumables and Therapeutic Care.

This role will lead the UKI strategy, planning and execution for the Medical Consumables and Hospital Ventilation portfolios, within the Patient Care and Monitoring Solutions business. Both strong, successful businesses, they are at exciting stages with new channels, operating models and product launches coming. The role will lead programmes addressing these opportunities and continue to develop the business model.

Your Responsibilities

The Business Marketing Manager leads the overall business strategy and annual plan creation as well as the operational execution of the Consumables and Ventilation business within the UKI market. The Business Marketing Manager is also responsible for the financial performance of that business. He/She monitors performance, develops and executes corrective actions when necessary to achieve annual commitments. In support of these objectives, the Business Marketing Manager leads the product/solutions specialists in the Market, a team of 2 in UKI at present. The Business Marketing Manager is a key member of the Patient Care and Monitoring Solutions team and provides strong role modeling of appropriate attitudes and behaviors.

  • Manages business, marketing, sales and commercial partnerships with customers within the UKI

  • Creates and implements the national business strategy and the Sales Plan, including sales forecasts.

  • Drives business strategy creation and execution for a specific Business or Business Group in the market

  • Responsible for the Business / Market planning process for the business in the market and the local execution of the annual-plan

  • Responsible for the Business P&L and delivering on financial performance committed in the annual plan

  • Develops local go-to-market strategies (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning, Portfolio definition, pricing, and promotion) to drive profitable growth (in line with Quality & Regulatory requirements)

  • Lead business model development e.g. eCommerce strategy

  • Demand generation

  • Develops pricing strategies in line with the commercial policy

  • Drives customer satisfaction and loyalty by aligning the necessary resources within the Market Nurtures effective KOL engagement for key activation plans

  • Generates locally relevant insights as input for proposition and roadmap development

  • Provide global business group with local insights about markets, competition, product and application developments

  • Interface with the Business Group and Market-To-Order colleagues

This role will report directly in to the Business Manager for Patient Care and Monitoring Systems, UK and will lead a small team of sales representatives.

The team works closely with and is supported by multiple functions within the business; product marketing, sales management, operations, business transformation and finance.

We are looking for

  • Experience with P&L management incl. revenue and margin management

  • Significant experience in marketing technology, healthcare or medtech products or solutions, incl. creating customized value propositions to unique customers and markets

  • Experience with leading a cross functional team

  • Experience with working in a business with complex market/channel structures

  • Bachelor’s degree and with demonstrable industry experience

  • Strong business management acumen

  • Evidence of delivering results and meeting customer expectations

  • Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking

  • Ability to formulate strategies and concepts

  • Learning and managing information

  • Leading and supervising cross functional teams
