In this role, you have the opportunity to;

Join a global business on the cutting edge of Healthcare Technology, supporting innovation in the evolution of Philips as a Market Procurement Specialist. You will be the key contact for procurement in relation to our managed service equipment division, across commodities in the medical space.

You are responsible for;

Managing our Healthcare Services and product 3rd party spend across hardware, software, accessories, consumables and medical equipment devices for our UK & Ireland markets. As an integrated business partner, working with senior stakeholders up to C-level, you will drive strategic sourcing initiatives into the bid process for local markets, enabling contract flowdowns and taking the lead on SRM agreements with our supply base.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience;

  • Previous relevant experience of sourcing in Healthcare or medical environments, IT category experience would be an advantage

  • Evidence of excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to influence at all levels & resilience to deliver in a pressured environment

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels, both internally and within the supply base

  • Proven ability to undertake whole life cost/ total cost of ownership analysis, summarise results and make recommendations based on results

  • Good working knowledge of MS office

  • CIPS qualification is preferable
