Your challenge

  • To lead a team of Demand Planners tasked with creating the most accurate demand plan for the Market, as well as managing inventory levels to maximize customer service level whilst meeting internal KPIs.

  • To lead a team of Customer Demand Planners in working closely with our retailers (and internal departments) on forecasting, to ensure stock availability and to meet their OTIF requirements.

  • To facilitate the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across Sales, Marketing and the Leadership team

  • To lead internal and external process improvements and key projects

Your responsibilities

  • Manage two planning teams and their operational performance

  • Coach and develop both teams as part of their Individual Development Plans

  • Recruitment for own team and support for other areas of the business as required

  • Facilitate CFRM, BIM and MLM S&OP meetings. Ensure preparation is completed on time with attention to detail, meetings run to time and actions are noted

  • Drive S&OP maturity and improvement in the organisation

  • Key escalation point for availability & supply issues (both externally with customers and internally with BGs/Supply Planners)

  • Solution based approach to resolve internal supply & retailer availability issues

  • Consistently monitor and track KPIs against agreed targets (input to MPR)

  • Initiate, lead or participate in cross functional improvement projects

  • Customer meetings at senior planning level (to customer preferred cadences)

  • Provide Latest View financial forecast to BG and Supply planning teams

  • Coordination of market forecasting focus around key quarterly snapshots

  • Reporting to the Operations Director, Philips Personal Health UKI

  • Leadership of four Demand Planners and five Customer Demand Planners

  • Customer measures : OTIF, OSA, Stock In Trade, Vendor Lead Time
