Philips Clinical Marketing Product Manager in Haifa, Israel

Position summary:

The Clinical Product Manager is accountable for defining, launching and building profitable disease-oriented solutions transforming healthcare, in conjunction with the Clinical Scientists and the Clinical Application Specialists within the Clinical Function, to drive a multi-year roadmap. In this specific role, the disease are Oncology or Neurology based. This person directly works with R&D, Clinical Science, Program Management Office (PMO) and other marketing respective representatives (CT, MR, NM etc.) to ensure the advanced clinical applications are developed to the feature set and price specifications that each target market segment demands. The Clinical Product Manager owns the definition for new clinical disease-oriented applications for IntelliSpace Portal, and associated marketing needs regarding claims, proof points, etc. This function is required to build deep expertise in AV (Advanced Visualization) market segmentation, product and competitive strategy, clinical evidence to support claims and proof points, and product development for clinical applications.

Duties & Responsibilities (Key Areas of Responsibilities):

  • Develop and maintain a needs-based customer segmentation for AV solution across global markets (supported by Market Intelligence) and across the various markets

  • Define and implement Marketing plans that support growth, and facilitate the adoption of our solutions by our customers and sales force.

  • Work across R&D, Clinical Science, Services and Operations to develop integrated marketing stories that meet the needs of priority customer segments, tailored by market/disease

  • Set price corridors and guidance for clinical applications across the various releases and define specific packages (basic, standard, premium) for advanced clinical applications and campaigns if required

  • Define the claims and proof points necessary for successful adoption of the applications, and collaborate with Clinical Science team and key opinion leaders to establish claims

  • Define with the Clinical Function the multi-year roadmap for disease-oriented applications (e.g. diagnosis and/or treatment planning)

  • Develop business & use cases, as well as dedicated marketing strategies for solution adoption for the targeted segments (Radiology, CxO’s, payors…)

  • Conduct customer presentations, coordinated with priority customers (beta-sites, FOK sites, reference sites…) and participate to critical congresses to increase visibility

  • Drive overall execution of development and launch of clinical applications in all markets as part of a cross functional business team including BG/BIU Management, Sales, Field Marketing, Operations and Finance

Education/Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • At least M.Sc. in relevant field (Life Science), Ph.D./MD preferred

  • At least 5 years of experience in healthcare marketing, product development or related field

  • Experience in high-tech, healthcare/med-tech solutions businesses

  • Understanding of Oncology or Neurology – Strong Advantage
