Philips Senior Software Engineer in Haifa, Israel

ICAP Backbone group develops the System and Framework layer of IntelliSpace Portal , the leading Advanced Visualization solution in the market, and deals with integrating it into the Healthcare IT environment as a robust and stable enterprise solution.

As a Software Engineer in the ICAP Backbone HFA team you’ll be involved and in-charge of developing challenging SW modules in Agile Development Environment, and you will lead complex development activities in the ICAP System layer.

Responsibilities:

  • Be team player in Agile based development team

  • Be part of the Philips IntelliSpace Portal Backbone group.

  • Focus on development activities of Philips IntelliSpace Portal in the areas of Hospital IT Integration and Enterprise domain

  • Responsible for delivering SW modules and components in the needed quality, requirements are satisfied, and on time.

  • Promote personal and team development initiatives

  • Comply and align with software development professionalism standards within the team (processes and methodologies, quality of requirements, design, coding and testing).

  • Carries out complicated development and prototyping tasks.

  • Deep understanding of the market needs and ability to translate them to implementation requirement while considering the overall solution

  • Promote domain knowledge, system thinking and customer understanding.

  • Promote trust, openness and leverage external capabilities locally and globally)

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a SW engineer - mandatory

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Software - mandatory

  • Proven software engineering skills using .Net/C# / JAVA/ C++ - mandatory

  • System aspect background/experience in developing enterprise solutions - advantage

  • System wide skills and relevant experience – major advantage

  • Agile experience – advantage

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with English fluency
