I4 (Integrated, Intelligent Imaging Informatics) is an innovative software organization within the Philips Healthcare IT division. Its objective is to define and implement the next generation Imaging Informatics products by providing smart clinically-aware solutions enabling faster, quantitative and more accurate diagnosis, with great emphasize on user experience.

As a Sr. Software Engineer in I4, you’ll be involved in developing and owning challenging software modules within complex and advanced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design, implementation, integration and test of a (sub) system, component or module in high quality, according to requirements and on time.

  • Owner of multiple components and acts as the go-to-person.

  • Comply and align with software development professionalism standards within the team (processes and methodologies, quality of requirements, design, coding and testing).

  • Carries out complicated development, refactoring and prototyping tasks.

  • Good understanding of the market needs and ability to translate them to implementation requirement while considering the overall solution.

  • Promote domain knowledge, innovative thinking and customer understanding.

  • Promote trust, openness and leverage external capabilities locally and globally.

  • Promote software improvements, new technologies, new requirement ideas and usability improvements

Education/Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience after graduating

  • Proven experience on C#/ .NET/ JAVA. Managed code – Strong Advantage.

  • Experience on Windows environment- Advantage

  • Experience in Web and HTML5 programming- Advantage

  • System aspect background/experience in developing enterprise solutions - Advantage

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with English fluency

  • Ability to work effectively in an Agile team oriented environment (local and global teams)

  • Being able to adapt to dynamic and changing requirements and needs

  • Experience in international organization/medical devices background – Advantage
