Philips Usability Engineer in Haifa, Israel
As a usability engineer, you will be a part of the design team of the Philips Healthcare IT business. Your key areas of responsibility will be:
Responsible for the all the activities related to usability engineering in compliance with FDA guidelines and IEC 62366-1 (e.g. task analysis, use error risk analysis, UI requirements and more)
Collaborate with clinical scientists, software engineers and other colleagues in the design team, to develop new user interfaces and workflow concepts and evaluate these with clinical users.
Plan, execute and report global usability studies.

You also have great analytical thinking and great presentation skills.
Bachelor or Master’s degree in human factors engineering or interaction design or other relevant academic background.
Minimum 3 years’ experience of usability engineering and interaction design principles of complex systems, e.g. performing and reporting usability tests, creating usability requirements and UI wireframes.
Experience and understanding of users and processes in the healthcare domain – a key advantage.
Ability to write high quality formal documentation for recording the usability activities.
Excellent English, written and verbal. More languages – an advantage.
Interaction design and some graphic design capabilities is a key advantage.
Willing to travel to customer sites and Philips development sites abroad 2-5 times a year.
