Detector and Wifi Expert in DXR Service to support field service engineers in solving customer problems.
DXR systems are operated in wireless hospital networks and equipped with wireless detectors, which is the core component of those systems. It is vital for customer experience, that problems occurring in this area are solved immediately and in the most professional manner. It is the core function of this role to own the field support activities for these vital technologies and support the field service engineers in their crucial endeavor.
Handling of technical escalations and field problems by means of respective tools, in accordance to Philips HC IS guidelines and in a global environment (team in different global locations and field service engineers all over the world) as well as on demand onsite support for problem analysis and solving.
Analyzing detector error such as image artefacts, electronic noise, detector communication etc.
Analyzing malfunctions in wireless network environments via site surveys or protocol and spectrum analysis
Participation in regularly scheduled international trainings or experience exchange meetings with field service engineers.
Holistically evaluating actions and solutions considering their impact on short term and long term customer satisfaction, compliance as well as team and business KPIs
DXR Field Support is the only customer-facing department in BU DXR. Reporting into the Customer Service organization it is a key function in solving customer problems efficiently and professionally. Field Support is the BU link into the market organizations for technical matters and providing solutions to the field as well as insights regarding trend issues into R&D. With their deep product and component experience Field Support has a high impact on service cost and is key to customer experience.
DXR Field Support is a global organization located in several international locations and working with all customers in all countries of the world, which provides a deep insight in various challenges in different markets and provides the opportunity to work with many different cultures. Field Support is highly dynamic with ever changing technical, but also business related challenges. Owning the key components of DXR product platform (detector and Wi-Fi communication) will allow you to have a maximum impact on DXR KPIs as well as especially cost and customer satisfaction and thus will provide you with high visibility to BU senior leadership.
At least 5 years of experience in administration of wireless network environments (several different preferred) including experience in site surveys as well as protocol and spectrum analysis
WCNA or CCNA wireless certification
Experience in image processing as well as measurement and test engineering
proven experience in software and programming
Knowledge in detector technologies and admission of medical devices and practical experience with medical devices especially x-ray systems desirable
Distinct ability to communicate and work in global and x-functional teams
Strong analytical/problem solving skills and structured way of working
High customer and business focus, as well as strong business acumen
Fluent in English, German skills are desirable
