Philips Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f) with focus on DACH market in Hamburg, Germany


In this role, you have the opportunity to

take responsibility for supplier quality processes within the DACH area and get deep insights both concerning market as well as product requirements. In more detail: You will be responsible for implementing Purchasing Controls and Supplier Quality processes related to the purchase or acquisition of manufacturing materials, components, software, sub-assemblies, and contract manufactured finished devices/products or services, and their introduction into the Philips supply chain, including quality of spare parts and third-party manufacturers.

You are responsible for

  • Deployment of purchasing controls and supplier quality processes in the markets

  • Ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements and/ or procedures

  • Auditing suppliers and assessing metrics within the established supplier quality markets KPIs

  • Managing SCARs for suppliers in the market

  • Conducting Third Party Risk/ Compatibility assessments You are a part of an international team of Supplier Quality Engineers within EMEA and other parts of the world. Moreover, you’ll be working very closely with colleagues from supplier quality assurance, procurement and suppliers.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Minimum bachelor degree in Science or Engineering

  • Minimum of 6 years experience in a comparable environment, experience in medical devices preferred

  • Auditing experience, lead auditor certifications preferred

  • Supplier /Quality engineering background

  • Experience concerning ISO/ FDA experience

  • Fluent German and English skills (written and verbal)
