Summary Description:

The Senior Product Marketing Manager is a pivotal marketing role in the Business Innovation Unit (BIU) and drives creation of solutions (integrated combination of products and services) from idea to market. The Senior Product Marketing Manager is accountable for launching and developing product go-to-market strategies and plans aimed to demonstrate differentiated value propositions that transform healthcare.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain a needs-based customer segmentation for r respective solution (product solutions)n across global markets (supported by Market Intelligence)

  • Lead, develop and drive global strategic and tactical marketing campaigns for new product introductions

  • Lead and develop marketing programs that generate sustainable market growth by leveraging customer/market insights and clinical data to drive impactful downstream tactics and program

  • Partner with cross-functional partners (ie. Clinical Science, M2O field marketing and sales, leadership, Regulatory & Legal, etc.) to enable the development and execution of marketing programs and compelling outcome based messaging critical to driving overall product growth

  • Drive overall execution of development and launch of products/solutions in targeted markets as part of a cross functional business team including BG/BIU Management, Sales, Field Marketing, Operations and Finance

  • Utilize data (market research, market reports, financials, surveys, monthly revenue performance, and other business metrics) to drive strategies and programs.

  • Collaborate with external agencies and internal colleagues to create impactful promotional materials that include market data, voice of the customer input, and country sales and marketing.

  • Create training materials for sales and perform training to maximize execution of the commercialization plan and ensure achievement of the business objectives

  • Develop sales tools (literature, brochures, website, etc), training materials, and field and customer communications.

  • Author and execute marketing plans and commercialization plans for the assigned product portfolio.

  • Identify and respond to competitors' strategies and products that compete with assigned products. Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience5+ years of related experience in Product Management or adjacent fields (e.g. Field Marketing, Clinical Science, Marketing Communications) Desired Qualifications:

  • MBA and/or PhD desired in related field

  • 5+ years related experience in Product Marketing Management or adjacent fields (e.g. Field Marketing, Marketing Communications) with cross functional expertise

  • Experience in large high-tech, healthcare/med-tech solutions businesses


  • Demonstrated experience developing and creating strong functional teams with robust talent pipeline.

  • Demonstrated success in the launch and commercialization of products, especially at global level.

  • Experience working with Sales teams

  • Ability to synthesize market and customer feedback and existing and new products into solutions; comfortable with making tradeoffs, decisively

  • Demonstrated creative and innovative marketing strategies.

  • Strong analytical, financial and statistical skills to track marketing program productivity.

  • Demonstrable communication skills and ability to lead an organization to develop market leading products/solutions

  • Conceptual creativity – candidate will be asked to contribute ideas to enhance the effectiveness of the brand strategy.

  • Social Media Marketing expertise desired.

  • High-tech product launch experience (clinical experience a nice to have)

  • Proven communication skills and ability to influence colleagues
