Your responsibilities

  • Assess Clinical Specialist needs and available learning material for acute care and ventilation applications to identify gaps

  • Identify and prioritize needs for customer facing clinical learning materials

  • Gathers and documents requirements for clinical learning materials and identifies the scope of the project based on the functional components such as quick step guides, training checklists, instructor/faculty guides, collaborative learning environments

  • Utilizes own clinical knowledge and skills in preparation of clinical content

  • Collaborates with businesses and other subject matter experts in developing clinical content

  • Uses creativity for creating engaging learning activities

  • Designs learning solutions; creates an outline for proposed learning solutions, sets specifications on delivery approach and channels

  • Tracks and reports on progress of course development projects

  • Maintains library of clinical learning materials

  • Updates clinical learning materials on regular cadence

  • Communicates and educates clinical specialist on availability and use of learning materials

  • Assesses learning standards, quality guidelines, and business roles to ensure quality of learning offering

  • Ensures continuous improvement of learning offerings

  • Collaborates with SSMO and other team members on clinical methodology

  • Adheres to the company and/or organization’s policies, procedures, work instructions as it relates to process and quality

  • Applies industry best practices to clinical methodology and learning materials

We are looking for

  • Bachelor degree in nursing, or other related field or equivalent combination of academic and work experience

  • 5 years of direct patient care experience in a hospital or clinic, part of which has been in acute care and ventilation applications

  • 2 years experience in teaching clinical topics to other practitioners (Clinical Educator in a hospital or university)

  • Exposure to instructional design and learning principles is helpful but not required

  • Substantial English skills with addition language capability in one major European language

  • Prior hospital management experience is helpful but not necessar

Ideal candidate location would be home based in a major market in Europe close to a Philips site.
