Philips Sleep Technologist in Home Worker, United Kingdom

Your challenge

We are looking for a Sleep Technologist to join our team at Philips. You will be working as part of a clinical team providing a customer focused diagnostic, sleep and specialist therapy service to patients and clients. You will also assist with the clinical support and training of the office based Diagnostic and Sleep Support Team to deliver service success promoting best practice and enhancing working partnerships within the NHS and Private Sector.

The role is mainly office based with some field site visits to provide clinical support and management of patients enrolled with the Diagnostic and Specialist Therapy Programme.

Your responsibilities

  • Work with the existing clinical team, communicating with a wide range of professionals and patients to drive compliance and adherence of therapy

  • Adopt best practice, promoting appropriate technology to support a drive for improved and optimal clinical outcomes

  • Work well both independently and as part of a team to ensure patient and customer satisfaction and optimise outcomes

  • Assist in training other team members

  • Work closely and constantly with all parties to extend the customer base and execute the goals and aspirations of the business

  • Undertake additional ad hoc projects and responsibilities when requested

  • Assist with administrative, business reporting on a regular basis

  • Participate in relevant exhibitions or local events

  • Report back competitor activity and business opportunities

Your team

This position will be based from our office in Tangmere, West Susses and reports into the Clinical Support Manager

We are looking for

  • The ability to work well alone as well as part of a team

  • Excellent communication skills

  • The ability to build strong and effective relationships

  • Credible experience with a sound understanding of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea and CPAP therapy with experience in Sleep Medicine and/or Respiratory Medicine.

  • Educated to a degree level (or equivalent)

  • Nursing or Physiology qualification in a healthcare science or respiratory discipline is an advantage
