Your Challenge:

The Director Business Development, Long Term Strategic Partnerships (LSP’s) is responsible for development of Long Term Strategic Partnership customer proposals, development of LSP offerings, processes and content to enable the growth of the business and managing transition activities for new LSP customers.

  • Oversee and manage LSP business development and growth in assigned geography. Represent a substantially new business for Philips and a new business models for our customers

  • Will require highly effective collaboration both across Philips and with customer executive manage to build interest and value proposition for both sides.

  • Responsible for effective client engagement management across sales and service teams during targeting and proposal development process which will require coordinate across multiple channels and teams where incentives and ambitions may not always be aligned

  • Will require managing, facilitating and monitoring communications and activities of diverse teams within Philips and building effective relationships with key leaders

  • Will require early identification of resource requirements and building innovative business models/solutions with distributed resources with potentially limited availability

  • Leading through competency and influence; it is essential to manage and influence internal and external stakeholders across both the client and broader Philips organizations

Your Responsibilities:

  • Actively lead the identification and qualification process of potential LSP business opportunities

  • Manage the proposal development and contracting activities for each LSP opportunity working closely with ISC and functions

  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting on the project status and activities for LSP opportunities in proposal development, contracting and transition stage

  • Collaborates with the AE’s, HTS & Zone Leadership to support early engagement of customers in qualification of opportunities and account development activities

  • Supports marketing, training and communications activities and content development

  • Provide subject matter expertise on LSP offerings/business models

  • LSP Opportunity development tracked and managed in the sales funnel

  • Manages multiple/complex project work streams, analysis of client business/financial needs, client management, LSP

  • Solution design and implementation, and generation of project deliverables.

  • Subject matter expert for Healthcare Provider clients on LSP’s and part of a collaborative cross-solution project team.

  • Leads cross functional teams on the project team and helps them develop by providing necessary direction.

  • Experience utilizing complex analytical tools, operations management, business acumen and change management experience to manage and lead >$25M projects

Your Background:

  • Drive for results

  • 5+ years experience in customer account management with demonstrated experience in working with senior healthcare executives and clinical leaders

  • Knowledge of medical device technology, clinical delivery models and health management

  • Experience in marketing, strategy or early-state business management

  • Ability to effectively lead diverse, cross-functional teams and individuals that include both Philips and client employees

  • Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to lead individuals and teams through change.

  • Knowledge of financial and accounting mechanisms, preferably with direct experience in systems currently used by Philips

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate on operational and financial performance

  • Proven experience and ability working in matrix organizations

  • Impeccable oral and verbal communications and presentation skills

  • Business or clinical degree, with advanced degree preferred
