Job Responsibilities

  • Champion for the voice of consumer in the product development team and to provide inputs as needed to ensure consumer centric product developments from creation to launch

  • Define user requirements (usability, experience, performance) based on consumer needs to maximize user satisfaction

  • Translate user needs into technical specifications

  • Plan, arrange and execute consumer research, as well as report the findings and present those to the development team

  • Develop appealing claims to support product development

  • Pinpoint Satisfaction and Delight factors for the products under development.

  • Identify gaps in knowledge and propose appropriate means to obtain relevant information

  • Provide end-user related insights to support the development of the category roadmap

You are responsible for

  • Provide end-user related insights to support the development of the category roadmap You are a part of A team of researchers focusing on understanding and identifying what the consumers want, thus allowing us to tailor product offerings to meet consumer needs and giving us a real competitive edge through driving consumer centric product development. Your role is to guard users’ experience by gathering and providing continuous consumer feedback to share with the team during product development. You work in cross-functional teams with diverse background. As part of a core member in the team, your contribution is directly visible in the final product and also in influencing future directions of our product development.Being part of PRC, your pride comes from knowing consumers are delighted with the products you have helped created and Philips brand promise being delivered. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor degree or higher education in any of these fields: Human Factors; Psychology; Behavioral sciences; Sensory Science; Industrial Design; Interaction Design; Ergonomics; Human Computer Interaction; Engineering, amended with relevant education or experience in consumer research.

  • A proven track record and at least 5 to 8 years of experience in product development, product quality and translating the voice of the consumer into quality standards. Experience in pre-development and product development of consumer products is required.

  • Experience in consumer research methodologies and sound understanding of the underlying statistics,

  • Excellent planning skills

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills

  • Passionate and driven to fully serve the customer and always outperform competition. Always looking for perfection.

  • Proactive, creative, detail-oriented, ability to influence many stakeholders and team up with others

  • Have an interest in Beauty products (haircare, skincare etc) and new technology
