In this role, you have the opportunity to

You will coordinate and monitor the work of assembly workers on the first shift (6:45 am-3:15 pm) as directed by work center management.
You are responsible for
training, teaching and coaching workmanship quality on all work that is completed
setting up the line for the day’s work
giving a brief overview of the day’s work to the 1st shift staff at the start of the shift
responding to and resolving multiple issues daily
actively participating in one or more improvement teams

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
H.S. or GED required; college degree a plus
Minimum 3 years directly related experience is preferred
2+ years Assembler experience required
Experience with Word, Excel and Outlook, proficiency with standard office computers and equipment
Ability to frequently move or transport product of ten pounds and sometimes up to 70 pounds
May also need to access above the level of a standard 54 inch file cabinet
Ability to work shift hours are 6:45 am to 3:15 pm. Group Leader must be in earlier for line set up and stay after shift ends. Some Saturdays will be required.
