Philips Procurement Business Process Expert in Monroeville, Pennsylvania

In this role, you have the opportunity to achieve results through collaboration with cross functional teams locally and globally.

You are responsible for

  • Developing, implementing and supporting solutions that will drive business improvements within procurement and operations teams.

  • Understanding the technical and practical aspects of procurement processes and communicating these to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Training users in the use of procurement systems and processes to ensure effective tool adoption.

  • Leading cross functional teams to identify system and process needs that will drive requirements; driving these projects to completion.

  • Creating reporting and metrics capability for stakeholders across businesses; utilizing reporting capability of tools to provide effective business analysis.

  • Ensuring and verifying process/systems compliance per regulated agency and Philips internal business control requirements. Participating in audits as needed.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred, in the area of business and/or information science with experience in business analysis, project management, and process improvement.

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office products, including advanced knowledge of Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Project; SAP, specifically procurement processes; SharePoint administration and design; PHP and Visual Basic .NET programming preferred; Database tools including SQL Server or Oracle, ability to understand and write complex queries.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects of varying sizes simultaneously, address emerging needs promptly, and communicate across functions and lines of business.

  • Knowledge of the Supply Management function, including Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, Material Quality, Inventory and Data Management areas.

  • Experience in a medical regulated environment is a plus.
