Marketing Operations Specialist

You are responsible for

The Marketing Operations Specialist supports the operational aspects of ongoing Marketing projects, including print, video and web-text. Performs non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery. Coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity to bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and project timelines and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with Global Communication Marketing, Field Marketers, and key stakeholders.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Assess projects for work assignment -manage issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and project timelines and objectives

  • Communication and coordination with International Field Marketers for International English needs, budget management and troubleshooting

  • Create new jobs in Media Market, PN/MCI numbers and name of project, by following the naming convention required, in SAP for all jobs

  • Day-to-day management and maintenance of marketing assets, including release and obsolescence of literature per quality procedures

  • Obtain approval of the MCI form outlining literature specifications

  • Oversee completion of projects and maintain project folders – legal/regulatory process, release process, archive process

  • Find/retrieve native files or images and upload to FTP server when requested (this to be obsoleted as new systems

  • Support the team with the opening/processing of PO’s and invoices

  • Manage relationships with vendors - troubleshoot issues i.e AP, Infosys, iChase, P-Card and Sector queries

  • Accounting – quotes and invoicing – International - management of central budget – accounting reconciling

  • Stay current on marketing and or product developments and best practices

  • Manage Special Projects

Skills and experience

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience

  • Requires strong verbal and written skills.

  • Proficient in a broad range of marketing tools

  • Demonstrates outstanding writing and editing skills.
