Your challenge

Senior Software Engineer to work in a Scrum team to develop a critical part of a new web-based application. The candidate will contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of the software as well as collaborate with other software developers. Development will be primarily performed using Java to create web services running on Cloud Foundry to pull data from 3rd party cloud-based systems.

We are looking for

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience developing customer facing software applications.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field.

  • Proficiency with object oriented design and development in Java.

  • Spring Framework

  • RESTful web services

  • Concurrency and multi-threaded applications

  • Test Automation using JUnit - Developer unit tests

  • Build Management & Continuous Integration (CI) (Team City or equivalent)

  • Source Control (Git or equivalent)

  • Scrum

Experience with any of the following are a plus, but not required:

  • AngularJS

  • HTML5

  • CSS3

  • JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)

  • Test Automation using Behavioral Driven Development (BDD)

  • MongoDB (or equivalent)

  • Messaging (RabbitMQ or equivalent)

  • Mockito

  • IntelliJ

  • Cloud Foundry
