Philips Assistant Marketing Manager Kenya ( 12 months fixed term) in Nairobi, Kenya

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Support the Philips Kenya marketing team in its activities and function. This is a hands-on role where passion, teamwork and being initiative are key to success. Intern- Philips PH Kenya Marketing will be reporting directly to the marketing manager Kenya.

You are responsible for

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION PROCESSES

  • Assist with all Marketing related administration tasks

  • Cost estimates and purchase orders

  • Processing invoices

  • Samples

  • Assist with month end reporting

  • Assist with preparation of presentations, as and when required

CATEGORY INVOLVEMENT

  • Assist across the team with marketing activities related to all categories.

  • This will involve being part of

  • NEW PRODUCT INTRODUCTION PROCESS - support with insight development, analytical tasks including analysing and reporting on product sales performance, competitor analysis and market trends, in order to identify and further develop with current/new product ranges.

  • ANNUAL CATEGORY MARKETING PLAN- support the team in the preparation of annual category marketing plans. Assist in sourcing of relevant category , consumer insights that will be used as input into the category marketing plan

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing

  • Minimum 1 year experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Attention to detail

  • Positive attitude and performance under high pressure

  • Interactive, self-motivated, open to changes, performing towards targets

  • Results focused and performance driven

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and continually meet deadlines

  • Excellent communication skills-interpersonal, verbal, and written

  • Ability to work successfully with different cultures across organization boundaries

  • Ability to work under pressure
