Philips Junior Application Engineer in Netanya, Israel

The company is seeking a talented and motivated individual to contribute to new field launches of the SyncVision platform and associated Coronary IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound) and Coronary Physiology Co-Registration clinical applications and specifically:


  • Post Sale applications training for users (physicians and technicians) and well as Volcano/Philips’ employees.

  • Support the company's field activities such as site reviews, site preparation, system installation and integration with on-site 3rd-party equipment

  • Support and participate in internal system level software testing cycles and simulations in accordance with the Volcano Israeli’s processes and approved protocols.

  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for the field


  • BA or BSc degree in a Medical related discipline (e.g. Biomedical Engineering or Medical science) and/or similar position in a medical device and/or medical imaging and/or medical IT company.

  • The candidate must be willing to travel extensively abroad to various geographies.

  • Excellent spoken and written English. Additional languages - an advantage.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills - can work with a diverse range of professionals.

  • A strong team player.

One of the following shall be considered a strong advantage:

  • Experience in the training of and/or interaction with medical staff

  • Experience in system installation and technical support
