Philips Manufacturing Project Engineer 4 in Orlando, Florida

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Drive the Project Management efforts on MRI medical products, as well as new and sustaining engineering projects.

You are responsible for

  • Leading Manufacturing/Supply Chain Management program teams in new product, released product/process support/improvement, cost reduction, and completing the Invivo Integration into Philips processes and systems.

  • Driving Supply Chain business goals for time-to-market, manufacturability, reliability, regulatory compliance and supportability for new and released products at all manufacturing locations. (Philips internal and contract Manufacturers).

  • Overall responsibility for Supply Chain design and necessary cross-organizational commitments for deliverables/dependencies and cross-organizational stakeholder buy-in for the Programs.

  • Establishing the Program infrastructure, definition of charter, stakeholders and sponsorship, work breakdown structure, risk and contingency plans, and Program reporting methodology.

  • Providing leadership, guidance, direction and focus to facilitate Cross Functional Program team participants in managing their plans, schedules, risks. Ensures timely and efficient resolution of issues by influencing partner organizations or escalating issues to cross-functional or higher level management, as appropriate. Influences across business entities and functions as required to ensure resolution of Project Management issues.

  • Leading generic projects for improvement in Supply Chain initiatives in the areas of released product/process support/improvement, and LEAN.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • An Associates, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of experience within manufacturing and project management

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes

  • Strong organization, planning and communication skills required

  • Experience working in a regulated industry (a plus)

  • General knowledge of Mechanical or Electrical engineering (a plus)

  • PMP certification (a plus)
