Philips International Business Manager, CT in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Ensure that each individual markets can fully exploit the sales and profit potential of the sales and services solutions. The primary responsibility of the International Business Manager (IBM) of Computed Tomography (CT) is to enable the BIU CT to act on market specific customer insights and competitor strategies as inputs into solutions/services’ roadmap (customer needs, features and economic benefits). The IBM will be working in close cooperation with the markets in the BMC (Business Market Combination) structure and be the CT BM representative in the BMC meetings/dialogue.

You are responsible for

  • Leading the creation of BMC plans between Business and Markets and help drive the execution of BMC plans with specific accountability for driving demand and achieving CSG and iGM targets

  • Leading the Segment for M2O and drive segment BMC planning across the markets and within the CT BIU.

  • Working with Segment BIU team, M2O team and with markets (i.e. district teams) to drive the CT performance in these markets

  • Identifying BMC opportunities, activate plans to capture these opportunities and resolve shortfalls vs. plan (where to play and how to win)

  • Identifying, developing and activating new business opportunities across the BU and beyond systems

  • Driving strategic improvements in Go-to-Market (GTM) model including channel development

  • Representing the ‘voice of the markets’ towards BU Leadership Team and ensures alignment of BIU strategic plans with strategic plans of markets.

  • Representing the BIU CT with KOLs in the assigned Markets (in collaboration with Field Marketing)

  • Driving resolution of issues related to supply chain, inventory, Q&R and Customer Satisfaction

  • Leading NPI’s in assigned markets and provide relevant market feedback to BU to come to tailored/localized value propositions

  • Driving insights and strategic activities through market and funnel analytics

  • Managing (3rd party) solution-partners to support specific value propositions and projects, develop cooperation strategy and support feasible implementation together with local teams

  • Driving strategic and financial planning and reporting for BIU CT in assigned markets

  • Taking all necessary actions, including the deployment of team objectives, to ensure full compliance with all Business and Q&R policies and procedures.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Academic Degree level education or equivalent

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in sales and /or marketing management in a B2B environment

  • Knowledge of complex market /channel structures

  • Understanding of Healthcare market segments and trends

  • Analytical, conceptual thinker without compromising on pragmatic execution and activation

  • Proven entrepreneurial mindset and results orientation in business development: a strong sense of urgency and a track record of focusing on core business issues.

  • Strategic orientation: ability to bring a strategic orientation to a business, combining rigorous analytical thinking and problem solving into developing a clear and ambitious business plan for the future;

  • Ability to travel.
