Installation Coordinator, Philips Healthcare, (Pewaukee, WI)

Summary Description: The Installation Coordinator will have a firm understanding of Clinical Solution Products, scheduling and estimating time required for each job while coordination of multiple jobs. This position is responsible for a variety of administrative, technical and customer/sales support activities related to Invivo’s Clinical Solution Product line. Support activities include communication/planning with customer sites to ensure completion of equipment installation, prerequisites, planning field applications and management of administrative activities required for regulatory compliance. Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Interacts with customers, company sales and/or service representatives to handle a variety of pre-sales or post-sales service functions.

  • Coordinates product pre-installation process through communication with customer IT/clinical personnel and Invivo sales team to ensure timely completion of technical and clinical installation prerequisites. Planning field installations, assign field personnel, obtaining software license and management of administrative activities required for regulatory compliance.

  • Performs, as an experienced skilled worker, non-repetitive Customer Service support tasks that are mostly stated in general terms and that require own interpretation and some consultation from (senior) colleagues involved.

  • Harmonizes clinical application training, allocate applications personnel, and management of administrative activities required for regulatory compliance.

  • Gathers additional information and chooses from different possibilities HOW to best carry out the assignment, adapting known solutions based on experience and basic analysis.

  • Operates pretty autonomously within existing procedures, methods and techniques that however need to be adapted because they are not fully sufficient to give direction on critical points.

  • This position requires the management of conflicting priorities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to resolve issues quickly, based on limited information. Time pressure is quite high in this position, as poor planning of scheduling can result in cancellation of revenue recognition.

  • Schedules and coordinates customer/sales team request for additional applications training.

  • Duration of assignments is typically a few weeks. Acts as a senior towards colleague skilled workers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in project management and/or computer information systems or equivalent experience, preferred

  • 3+ years experience in a customer support role with technical products.

  • Familiarity with diagnostic imaging equipment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and determine best course of action for each situation while meeting deadlines and accurate and timely completion of all documentation and KPI’s.

  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Microsoft operating systems, word processing knowledge including Word, spreadsheet applications in Excel, and data base applications.

  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal instruction.
