In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Master data quality for Philips Central and Eastern Europe (19 countries), for both Philips businesses – healthcare and personal health. Also, as a master data you will act as a change agent in your organization, you will work on problems of moderate scope where the analysis of data requires a review of a variety of factors and requires a multi-disciplinary approach and knowledge of basic lean and continuous improvement principles, theories and concepts.

  • This opportunity also involves raising data quality awareness and compliance to data rules through activities like: to review, validate and provide feedback in order to improve business processes and data rules applicable for CEE markets towards EIM and the Business Process Owners (BPOs) global community.

  • You will also ensure compliance to the standard work on data (data quality rules, data management processes, data access) by the local data owners by informing, training, coaching and sharing status reports up to market leadership level. You are responsible for

  • Driving data cleansing activities in legacy to reach foundational level prior to (any) data migration start and reaching specific quarterly legacy targets

  • Driving data migration activities towards sign-off on time and on quality as per end-to-end program plan

  • Driving continuous improvement in data quality in Philips Integrated Landscape to reach quarterly Philips Integrated Landscape targets

  • Driving data excellence behavior and act as a change agent in your organization: pro-active mobilization of market data network to raise data quality awareness and enforcement on data quality rules, data management processes and related standards

  • Acting as an active team member of the data network across Businesses, Markets and Functions with the global Enterprise Information Management (EIM) team and pro-actively sharing successes and feedback to continuously leverage knowledge and maturity of data quality

  • Enforcing various data rules for the market and ensures high level of data quality, integrity, availability, completeness, consistency, privacy and compliance to those rules by the data owners

  • Managing operational relationship with EIM: Business Information Owners, data services and Analytics; monitors EIM SLA’s for the market

  • Managing local business data management activities (directly or with a team of data specialists) and ensuring adherence to agreed data management ways of working. You are a part of The CEE Healthtech where you will act as an active team member of the data network across Businesses, Markets and Functions with the global Enterprise Information Management (EIM). To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Minimum 7-9 years of data or information management experience (healthcare and consumer products an advantage): e.g. controlling, sales, marketing management, health systems, business excellence with proven track record on factual decision making, using analytics and standard process management

  • 3-5 years of experience in data mining to garner meaningful and actionable insights, familiarity with various templates (MQ3, etc.), expertise in managing large quantities of data and writing SQL on various databases

  • 2-4 years of experience with one or more business cloud tools, such as SAP,, Service Max (note: a salesforce cloud platform), Foresight, JDA, Tableau, ClickView etc. and enterprise systems, e.g. CRM, SFA, ERP etc.

  • Bachelor or Master degree, with the preference in IT field, in a technical Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering discipline, IT & Econometrics

  • Knowledge and experience in data migration with a range of Business Intelligence tools, including Database systems and Extract, Transform and Loading (ETLs) tools

  • Proven experience with large scale projects/programs, responsibility for data profiling, data quality analysis, data standardization, data cleansing, data management and data management rules development, business data migration scope and data quality sign-offs

  • Demonstrated experience with at least one Data Quality Toolset and Metadata Management, Affinity with data quality methodologies and approaches

  • Passion for analytics and data-driven analysis and solutions

  • Excellent project management skills - PMI certification considered an advantage

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel (ability to apply data mining/cleansing rules), PowerPoint, working knowledge of HTML, CSS

  • Knowledge of lean methodologies and continuous improvement, incl. use of various tools is an advantage

  • Ability to work with different stakeholders (internal/external) across different countries

  • Self-organized and able to prioritize efficiently

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – ability to translate technical jargon into comprehensible and straightforward data validation guidelines

  • Team player, flexible, proactive and open minded

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, international experience will be considered an advantage

  • Fluent English and at least 1 East European language (mother tongue or advanced knowledge)
