The Project Manager must demonstrate a strong understanding of project management skills and, design and development for learning products.
The Project Manager must be able to manage end to end content development projects, manager vendors, and advice academies on cost estimates and provide scheduling advice for bespoke ILT, apps or e-Learning solutions for a variety of subjects and markets.
The key tasks are to be able to:
Manage multiple learning (eLearning and ILT) projects simultaneously and liaise with the Academies to understand project requirements
Handle the entire academy requirement and help them to achieve their business goal.
Work with the Instructional design team to provide advice to Academies on best fit learning method and tool for planned learning interventions
Take full responsibility for assigned projects from design phase to handover learning intervention to Academies.
Manage different vendor and their team. Ensure, they are delivering projects on time and in the given cost structure
Develop project plan for each initiative, assign development responsibilities (in-house or vendor) and estimate time and cost required to build the content.
Work with Academies and SMEs to get the required inputs
Act as a account manager and build a strong relation with them
Create PO process and structure the creation of it according
Work with the procurement team and ensure that they are in line with the vendor work and their costing parameter. Build strong relation and infuse confidence in that time
Handle and manage invoices coming from vendor and be on the top of it all the time. Get the reports generated and share it with top level management, whenever required.
Understand business, user and training requirements and translating those requirements into polished leading edge learning content
Monitor all stages of production and frequently review the developed content to ensure Academies requirement and Philips University standards are met
Showcase expert knowledge of content development lifecycle
Plan internal quality reviews and subsequent updates of products prior to delivery to ensure good quality of all deliverables to clients
Communicate effectively with the team and assist junior team members to use project management tools and techniques
Utilize resources effectively assigned on the project
Demonstrate excellent customer relationship management skills
