Philips Account Manager in Saint Louis, Missouri

Job Description

This role will perform traditional Account Management activities for 30-40 b2b channel partners. If the partners span more than one location then the account manager is responsible across ALL locations. These locations include hospitals, durable medical equipment (DME), and home health/care. Account Manager will act as a single point of contact for sales & marketing activities including:

-Develops Territory plan in conjunction with key customer stakeholders for assigned sales/service territory with the goal of meeting or exceeding the territory’s revenue objectives. Territory plan will be the roadmap for the success of the position.

-Consistently meet or exceed targeted number of daily, proactive outbound calls in accordance with expectations established by Sales Management.

-Managing accounts within defined territory (MO, FL, GA, TN, AR, AL)

-Quarterly Business Reviews

-Works with program (customer) staff to develop annual business plan that drives growth in subscriber levels as well as attains or exceeds specific revenue targets, including:

  • Customer mapping, relationship development, and growth goal setting

  • Multi-product positioning

  • New business relationship opportunities

-Equipment sales to purchasing customers

-Expansion of existing product lines with current customers

-Contract renewals

-Key Decision Maker (KDM) engagement

-Lead/Opportunity management within SalesForce.com CRM

-New product launches to assigned accounts

-Overachievement of Total Revenue and Monthly install targets

  • Support team development through mentoring assignments and through support of training new team members.

To be based in Missouri (St. Louis preferred)

You are responsible for:

-Intense B2B market review for opportunity, threat, strengths and weaknesses

-Act as team leader in the coordination of delivering excellent customer service and experience between customers and various internal Philips Home Monitoring departments to ensure that customer's service needs and expectations are exceeded.

-Work to proactively resolve situations that have the potential to escalate into more serious issues - leveraging all available PLL resources - as this role has the responsibility for any key customer/ program losses.

-Manage service projects as required to support key customer relationships

-Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Provides manager ongoing updates as required on assigned opportunities

-Effectively interacts with senior level stakeholders in internal and external environments.

-Effectively communicates, both in verbal and written form.

-Maintain active sales funnel (via Salesforce.com) to enable and ensure both goal attainment and accurate monthly revenue forecasting.

-Utilizes networking venues (conferences, seminars, trade shows, etc.) to build productive relationships

-Develops competitive/industry contacts to keep up with trends, changes and opportunities

-Plans, prioritizes and organizes all sales related administrative activities/reports to ensure timely and effective execution

-Completes all required administrative functions while adhering to Lifeline’s policies and procedures

-Operates within assigned budget.

-Demonstrates proficiency in planning, organization, and time management skills

Additional

-Previous experience building relationships with B2B customers and C Suite selling experience

-BS or BA degree preferred or healthcare sales experience equivalent

-Healthcare sales experience preferred

-Travel: Minimum of 50%

In this role, you have the opportunity to be a top performer as a Philips Lifeline Account Manager promoting the Philips Lifeline service within the assigned geography of St. Louis, Missouri and other assigned states. Key Areas of Responsibility (KARs) are business to business B2B healthcare sales, consulting, and business development.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • College degree preferred or equivalent healthcare sales experience

  • Previous experience 3 plus years sales experience working with Home Healthcare and Hospital sites promoting healthcare services

  • Strong PC skills and Sales force.com experience preferred

  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of management

  • Previous success in achieving sales goals according to plan
