Philips Senior Marketing Specialist in Shanghai, China

W ORK ING REL ATIONSHIPS

  • Directly-report to head of the Solution Marketing of the Integrated Solution Center organization

  • Co- work with Global BU for solution positioning and downstream marketing strategy alignment;

  • Co-work with Health Tech China Marketing team, and DI/iGT, US, PCMS & CS sales and marketing teams for strategy alignment and internal funnel communication;

  • Co- work with Philips China GA functions for government relations set-up;

  • Co- work with external partners for solution selling eco-system set up and branding;

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop top market opportunities via strategic marketing activities including market segmentation, product positioning, competitive landscape, voice-of-customer and go-to-market model

  • Buildup relationship with government authorities, industry groups, policy boards and standards bodies

  • Develop customer reach, university partnering & advisory board programs

  • Choose and organize our involvement in industry trade shows, conferences and speaking opportunities

  • Coordinate all marcom events and PR, and create an “experience” that differentiates Philips Solutions from competitors and drives lead generation

  • Work closely with the Solutions Teams on solution positioning, marketing materials, customer testimonials

  • Create external facing presentations for use by the Sales team and for selling situations

  • Coordinate NPI process, along with the Solutions Teams, for global solutions being brought into China

  • This role needs to act as an entrepreneur who is visionary and passionate for developing new business with creative insight;

  • This role needs to have strong people and influencing capability, success in building relationships across the organization;

  • Differentiations to win in China healthcare solution market as a multinational company

Qualification

  • 5+ years’ work experience, including 2+ years’ experience in medical industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, etc.);

  • 3+ years’ marketing experience, or experience in related function (pre-sales, product manager, sales);

  • Knowledgeable in Marketing, and good command of IT knowledge;

  • Creative & open minded;

  • Leadership & teamwork;

  • Very good communication skill and influential capability;

  • Good command English in writing and speaking;

  • Bachelor degree or above; clinical background preferred
