The Philips Hospital Respiratory Care business has three locations in the United States. Our products include invasive and noninvasive hospital ventilators, patient interfaces, sensors, and monitoring equipment.

The OEM Respironics group is located in Wallingford, Connecticut and is a leading manufacturer of mainstream and sidestream capnography and respiratory monitoring sensors and accessories.

Selected candidate can be placed as Senior Sales manager or Sales manager depends on candidate's competencies level.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Manage the Hospital Respiratory Care OEM Sales function and portfolio of products in defined regions/countries (Asia-Pacific).

  • This position interfaces strategically and tactically with HRC OEM and customer senior management, product marketing, supply chain and R&D functions You are responsible for

  • Insuring that the right multi-disciplinary organization and structure is in place to be able to deliver the sales objectives and has full responsibility for the sales plans and results in the assigned regions/countries.

  • Leading, directing and motivating the sales support team in order to achieve the predefined sales volume and profit goals.

  • Operating within the policies and targets set by the HRC OEM Business Unit. Having an in-depth understanding of the customer strategy through establishing and maintaining key executive relationships within new and established OEM customers.

  • Defining an integrated sales and marketing strategy incorporating OEM product and technical solutions and value proposition that maximizes short and long term OEM and customer growth opportunities.

  • Working with OEM customers in the region for product integration applications include monitoring, ventilation, anesthesia and all product accessories.

  • Increased product sales based on 1) Successful integration of HRC technology into customer technology. 2) Integration of HRC products into customer design cycle. 3) CFDA and other global regulatory authorities.

  • Gaining access to new or existing technology and business leaders in the region for OEM Products. Creating and presenting comprehensive, influential, persuasive sales and marketing materials to increase market share.

  • Ability to comprehend and articulate various value propositions including financial value, engineering/technical advantages, sales & marketing etc.

  • Candidate will be a highly visible team player on new product development Core Teams and will be expected share in team leadership as needed.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Education and knowknow: Bachelor degree or above, preferably with Master’s degree(Must); Professional medical accreditation (Respiratory and Nursing.) in related clinical fields (patient monitoring) is a plus for this role.(Nice to have)

  • Experience:

  • More than 5yrs proven track record in sales & marketing account management role.(Must)

  • Sales/Product management experience of a medical capital equipment device is a Must.

  • Experience and proven track record in 2 out of 3 of the following areas: Downstream Sales/Marketing (Execution oriented). Upstream Sales/Marketing (Business Creation orientated). Customer Relationship Management. (Must)

  • Experience of working in a role with relationship/customer management oriented towards OEM industry is a plus, Experience of working in hospital critical care device is a plus.

  • Experience in building and executing a strategy. (Must)

  • Relevant multi-cultural experience. (Must)

  • Competencies and skills:

  • People management (working with a virtual team). (Must)

  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese strongly required(Must)
