Philips Lead Engineer, Thermo-mechanical Development in Singapore, Singapore

You will be involved in the development of new product functions & modules for steam generation modules in domestic appliances. You will be involved in the activities including new concept generation, concept evaluation and feasibility study, detailed design (part and module), prototyping and testing. Last but not least, you will help with failure analysis and developing solution in support of manufacturing & quality improvement of products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Mechanical/Material Engineering with 2 to 3 years of experience.

  • Good knowledge and working experience in handling challenges in developing mass produced devices.

  • Knowledge in thermal management, metals & metal forming (eg. deep drawing, casting) and associated failure mechanisms will be an added advantage.

  • Strong analytical & conceptual thinking

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Good communication skills
