Your challenge

Philips Medical Systems training center provides task-oriented coached learning on Philips Health Care products: function, service procedures and applications. The target groups for this learning are worldwide touch-point players in Customer Support and their customers. The objective of learning is to assure the competence to support the workflow and performance at a customer’s site.

The training center is responsible for developing; delivering, evaluating and updating learning sessions for all touch-point players working with PH products. Development departments and Service Innovation groups are the prime providers of product knowledge. This knowledge is transformed into certified blended courseware by the Academy.

The delivered products are technical training and workshops, product seminars, cross modular training and courseware (student manuals), multimedia applications and self-study packages like e-learning, blended etc.

This position is focused on training and coaching for the IGT interventional systems: development / maintenance of training products but also recognized as product specialist by customers and subject matter experts.

Your responsibilities

Course development

  • Pro-actively keeping in touch with, amongst others, the Service Innovation groups, engineering groups, Global Customer Service target groups, to be informed about new developments, define and develop/maintain courses to ensure that course content is up to date.

  • To monitor the information issued to the target groups in order to create a balance between the interests of the company and the customer regarding sensitive product and business information.

  • Participate in meetings to receive feedback from the training center’s customers, to identify evolving challenges and how to best maintenance the training programs to meet the customer needs.

Course delivery

  • Arrange systems, materials and classrooms to ensure that the courses can be delivered in the most optimum conditions (classrooms, systems and lab environment).

  • Coaching the students in all learning environments in order to present the learning content in the most active and efficient way for the student to study. Coaching Trainer Coach colleagues.

  • Evaluating the courses and assessing the students in order to get feedback with which to improve course quality to the targets as set by the team manager.

  • Delivering local courses on location in the field or other campuses.

We are looking for

  • Degree level education or equivalent.

  • At least 5 years of technical experience with modality/products, preferably in IGT.

  • Advanced presentation and communication skills.

  • Be motivated, ambitious, proactive and customer oriented.

  • Able to work independently.

  • Strategic and analytical mindset.

  • Didactical / training experience is preferred.

  • Willingness to travel globally.
