Philips Marketing Manager SDA SB in Sofia, Bulgaria

Your challenge

Will be category and brand management of SDA (Floor Care, Garment Care, Air Care, Kitchen Appliances, Coffee) in South Balkans (Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo) meaning:

  • Strategy development

  • NPI strategy

  • Activity planning, brand activation planning, forecasting

  • Profitability

  • Budget Management.

Your responsibilities

  • As co-owner of the product strategy & planning process, define the objectives (sales, profitability, MS, brand image KPIs), develop, implement, track and optimize marketing campaigns planned in the yearly marketing calendar for SDA categories in SB;

  • Develop the Adriatic NPI plan in liaison with CEE KA, FC & GC Marketing Managers & SEE Marketing Director SDA, flawlessly implement & track it;

  • Set up and execute roadmaps for the introduction of new products or updates and the phasing-out of existing products in such a way that an optimal product portfolio is available on the market in time and with low costs of stock;

  • Support and guide the Product Creation Process by market research, the definition of commercial requirement specifications and product specifications Drives development and execution of local activation plans, local insight collection, analysis, knowledge;

  • Develop sales plans in cooperation with the TSM and key accounts in order to maximize the support to the sales process and set prices and product positioning and to define sales training and sales support;

  • Contribute along with sales & TSM to the development of new channels;

  • A&P budget construction, management execution, track, follow up;

  • Plan, build and maintain relations with key account or key users in order to stay connected to the developments and trends in the market;

  • Coordinate with: Internal - sales team, TSM, marketing team, logistic team, back office, marketing peers; External – agencies;

  • Localize regional digital plans, Facebook page.

We are looking for

Field of education

  • Economy, Engineering, Social Sciences

Level of education

  • University degree

  • Master degree will be an advantage

Specific requirements

  • Good knowledge of numbers & very good command of Excel

  • Travelling: 25%-30% of working time

  • Excellent consumer marketing skills (insights, strategy, planning, MROI, media)

  • Digital skills (good understating of touch points, analytics)

Working experience

  • Min 3-4 years relevant brand management experience in a high profile multinational company out of which min 1-2 years on a Brand Manager position

  • Desired additional marketing experience of 2-3 years in digital marketing, marketing research, trade marketing

  • Regional role as brand manager – will be considered an advantage


  • Bulgarian –native

  • English -fluent
