Philips Online Store Merchandising Manager in Stamford, Connecticut

Your challenge

As the North American Online Store Merchandising Manager you will use your marketing and sales skills to serve our consumers and employees through Philips’ direct-to-consumer channel. You are responsible for the execution of the e-commerce strategy for US and Canadian Public and Employee stores. The primary goal is growth in revenue and profit by increasing traffic, conversion, basket value and loyalty.

Your responsibilities

As the NA Online Store Merchandising Manager you are responsible for;

  • Tracking and optimizing daily sales and budgets.

  • Campaign management which includes creation of a marketing calendar and briefings while tracking the delivery of created assets and campaigns.

  • Support marketing with platform for end-to-end tests to determine effectiveness of campaigns.

  • Digital content management which includes optimizing in relation to service, product and campaign level.

  • Increasing traffic from internal and external sources while optimizing ROI on ad spend.

  • Analyzing data and proposals for improvement of the consumer decision journey, conversion and basket value.

  • Work with operations manager on portfolio and stock management which requires guiding phasing of products and campaign forecasting.

  • Working closely with CRM Manager to support loyalty and new business opportunities by briefing and delivery of campaign assets and reporting campaign results.

Your team

You are supporting the Digital Marketing Manager, B2B & B2C, and have close interaction with the VP Digital and Shopper Solutions. You are part of the Digital Team and will work together with the Online Merchandise Manager, Online Data Analyst, CRM Manager, Digital Content Manager, Digital Services team and IT.

We are looking for

The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills education and experience:

  • Bachelors in Marketing, Economics or related studies.

  • 2-3 Years’ experience in E-commerce, Marketing or Sales with a proven track record in increasing business.

  • Affinity with online marketing and understanding of e-commerce site architecture and online retailing.

  • Knowledge of driving traffic and understanding of various digital buying models (SEM, PPC, Affiliate, Partnerships).

  • Proactive attitude and strong communication and analytical skills.

  • Process oriented mindset with ability to learn new systems quickly. Experience with Adobe Site Catalyst, Eloqua and Hybris a plus.

  • Fluent in English, French is a plus.
