Philips Vendor Compliance Analyst in Stamford, Connecticut

The Vendor Compliance Analyst acts as a liaison between the customer and Philips teams to ensure the proper function and execution of all vendor compliance processes. The role will support all compliance functions focusing of retrieving, analyzing and presenting data; problem resolution and process improvement. The vendor compliance analyst will drive projects that bring awareness to the details of vendor violations data and challenge as appropriate to mitigate charges and resume compliance in accordance with our key KPIs. This role will also support other needs of the supply chain including but not limited to fill rate, on time, CSL and LEAN improvement initiatives.

Scope :

Expected to continuously evaluate and implement processes with regard to opportunities to improve internal metrics and drive toward successful achievement of company objectives by analyzing compliance data and implementing process improvement initiatives with CSR’s, Operational teams, Forecasting, Demand Planning and customers .

Essential Responsibilities:

Problem Resolution Coordination: Responsible for standardization and analysis of all Problem

Resolution processes/procedures to ensure maximum efficiency, accuracy, and proper

coordination with the different areas of Transportation, Logistics, warehousing and the customer. Review all Fill Rate and On Time related violations and initiate problem resolution for those issues.

Compliance Reporting/Violation Analysis: Prepare all reporting and supporting documentation for

business meetings with Corporate Ops (Customer Service, Forecasting, Demand Planning) on a monthly basis. Provide violation trend analysis and notify management of any necessary issues with FR, OT and Vendor Compliance needs based on these findings. Create monthly project improvement log identifying outstanding issues, and highlighting issues that have surpassed their resolution time-frame. Implement process improvements based on reporting analysis and outward resolution needs, driving production efficiencies and increasing planning opportunities based on Internal Supply Chain metrics.

Compliance Projects/Project Management: Collaborate with Customer Service, Forecasting and Demand Planning, providing them with the necessary FR/OT/CSL data within Supply Chain to avoid disruptions and ensure compliance to customer goals. Work with Customer Service, Forecasting and Demand planning on projects to improve processes that drive internal metrics.

Develop and implement supplier strategies for supply chain cost reduction, quality improvements, risk mitigation, opportunity identification, and internal/external process efficiencies. Identify and investigate opportunities to improve distribution efficiencies and savings, and coordinate implementation with business partners.

Coordinate daily activities related to compliance of Customers. Monitor critical customer metrics, including on-time delivery, operational deficiencies and order fill rates. Identify and discuss defects and delivery problems with management, customers, and affected parties and creates projects to improve metrics.

Develop reports on customer performance and activities and provide managers with current results for action.

Management of Monthly Write-Off Process: Work in partnership with accounting, operations, finance, and the collections teams to clear vendor violation open liabilities. Manage the process by which violations are examined, analyzed, and allocated based on root cause. Understand trends and impact on vendor violations budget. Conduct Root Cause Analysis to understand culpability for violations and for judgement on write-offs.

Provide month end open liability breakdown to the management team and all relevant stakeholders. Build reports compiling open liability at the end of the month with previous month information to track outstanding violations.

  • Conduct project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.

  • Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.

  • Create and maintain a project schedule for each project by identifying and monitoring: overall project timeline, project milestones, tasks, resources, ETAs, task dependencies, and critical paths.

  • Coordinate meetings, as needed, to initiate working sessions, resolve project issues, etc.

  • Promote continuous improvement by conducting, documenting, and communicating lessons learned throughout the project.

  • Prepare and conduct informal and formal presentations

  • Build relationships with all functional areas and manage stakeholder expectations

The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills education and experience:

  • Requires 3 plus years of experience in vendor management or supplier management

  • Requires solid experience using Microsoft Office

  • SAP experience preferred

  • Can coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, and have strong analytical skills and attention to detail skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required
