Your opportunity

As an Assistant Financial Controller - Sleep and Respiratory Care, you will be responsible for strategic collaboration with the management team and senior managers in delivering critical financial decisions for the business. Your key area of focus includes management of P&L, performance reporting, forecasting, financial analysis, liaising with regional shared services team and providing expert finance support to the business. Furthermore, this role also has responsibilities of development and execution of short and long-term plans for business, improvement and recommendation of process & cost initiatives, involvement in diverse range of projects and overall contribution for maximizing profitability.

Your team

You will report to the Regional Director of Sleep and Respiratory Care and work alongside experienced, passionate and enthusiastic team, committed to providing the very best service to the organization. More broadly you will be working as part of the Philips Sleep and Respiratory Care team, and have daily interactions with internal stakeholders across the business, both locally and regionally.

About you

To be successful in this opportunity, we are seeking individuals who are:

  • CPA/CA qualified

  • 8 + years' of progressive finance experience, working with financial control, management accounting and business analyses, preferably within an international environment

  • Confident communicator adept at interpreting complex financial data and presenting to non-finance stakeholder

  • Hands on SAP, MS Excel (advanced) and MS PowerPoint experience

  • Experienced with matrix organizations and virtual teams

  • Demonstrated ability to improve reporting systems and processes while providing commercial awareness and profitability

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and a strong drive for positive change
