Your Opportunity:

An opportunity has recently become available for an experienced Sales Manager to join our business, on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Basis, based at our Head Office in Sydney. As a key member of the ANZ Sleep and Respiratory Management Team, you will be responsible for leading the Sales Function for Sleep & Respiratory Care (SRC) business nationally, across Australia & New Zealand, maximizing revenues across all portfolios.

In this broad role, you will bring with you a dynamic leadership style that motivates and engages a diverse and high performing group of individuals. You will have a natural style in coaching and mentoring cross functional teams and will be skilled at designing and communicating clear strategies, objectives and plans.

Well known for your relationship building skills and ability to and engage with customers, you will be required to maintain excellent communication links and relationships with key customers and key decision makers of the healthcare system in ANZ.

Your team

Reporting to the Business Manager – Sleep & Respiratory Care for ANZ, you will also manage an enthusiastic team consisting of approximately 7 Sales Specialists, all committed to growing market share and providing the very best service to customers. More broadly you will be working as part of the Philips Healthcare team, and have daily interactions with internal and external stakeholders across the business.

We are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

  • Deep, proven knowledge and experience within Sales Management, within the Medical Device space, with a solid understanding of the nuances within a multi-channel environment.

  • Sound sales coaching and leadership capability, with track record in developing sales teams and increasing overall sales performance

  • Solid Business Acumen with experience in selling in to a B2B (Distributors), hospital and B2C environment – experience in working with Private Hospital groups ideal

  • Exceptional cross functional stakeholder management experience, having worked in a matrix environment

  • High levels of motivation, energy and a drive to achieve results

  • Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to build internal and external networks
