Your Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen, within our Personal Health business, for a professional and organised Team Assistant to join the team, on a 10 Month Fixed Term Contract, based at our head office in North Ryde. This is a challenging and varied role, providing full administrative support to our General Manager and broader Management Team as well as well as supporting our Financial Controller with various finance initiatives.

Well known for your ability to be self-sufficient, strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills and ability to work with large groups of people, each day will offer new challenges. You will take pride and gain satisfaction by ensuring that all office logistics, administration and general operations run smoothly for all business groups. Some day to day tasks will include; diary management, booking travel, expense management, preparing credit notes & purchase orders, event management, preparing presentations /promotional literature and general administration.


As part of the Personal Health team, you will report to the General Manager for Personal Health and work alongside a highly driven and passionate team, all committed to the overall success of the business. More broadly, you will be working as part of the Philips team and have daily interactions with stakeholders from across the business.

About you

To be successful for this opportunity, we are seeking:

  • 5+ years’ experience in an Office Management or Team Assistant role, supporting a broad range of stakeholders, within a large corporate concern.

  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent administration skills and high level understanding of organizational systems and processes and methodical work practices

  • Ability to take reasonable direction and work effectively and proactively in a self-directed manner.

  • Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work with stakeholders across all departments and levels within the company.

  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
