The Territory Manager is responsible for driving the growth of all supplied products (including Sleep Diagnostic Studies) to assigned accounts within a defined geographical territory.
This is achieved through customers who have agreed to conduct the Sleep Apnoea Program in their pharmacy
This role represents and promotes a broad product range , customer product demonstration and information sessions, training, sales negotiations, business development and all other relevant activities to grow the business.
Develop key relationships with all customers and key groups within territory to drive sales and grow business
Develop a full product and disease state knowledge
Provide regular updates to the Sales Director of market opportunity with assigned accounts, identifying key decision makers – then prioritizing to develop specific sales actions plans to help customers achieve clinical/commercial outcomes and grow our sales
Make sales calls, ask for orders, work with customers to expand business opportunities, ensure products are properly presented and that customers are aware of product changes, new releases, etc.
Maintain CRM records of territory, customer order potential, status of sales in progress and provide feedback to management on a regular basis.
Regularly call on all assigned customers to promote and sell assigned products through consultative selling and strategic negotiation.
Drive brand preference for assigned sleep products, solutions and accessories through increased face time and visibility with the key sleep stakeholders
Participate in Local / Australian trade shows, conventions and exhibitions promoting the sleep product portfolio as required
We Are Looking For:
Clinical Science degree / Diploma - Pharmacy or similar
Solid understanding of the community / retail Pharmacy sector
2 years + Sales Process, Account Management, Consultative Selling experience – preferably within Pharmaceutical or Medical Device sales
Ability to travel across the State – servicing a broad customer base
Knowledge of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea and / or clinical background in Respiratory / Sleep Medicine – highly advantageous
Exceptional Interpersonal skills with the ability to capitalize on opportunities
Sound business acumen
Ability to absorb clinical and technical information
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time
