We challenge you to join Philips Lifeline as a Customer Care Representative. In this role you will be responsible for answering calls and delivering a best-in-class level of customer service to both our internal and external customers, thereby ensuring customer satisfaction, first-call resolution and continued brand loyalty.
Here’s how you will do that:
Answer all incoming calls from customers
Assess and identify customer’s need and provide appropriate resolution following company policies and processes
Ensure all customer follow-up is done in a timely manner
Build rapport and engage customers to deliver an exceptional customer experience
Identify opportunities to upsell/cross-sell Philips Lifeline products and/or services
Provide back-up to the National Response Centre by responding to medical alarms, as needed or in response to high call volumes
Perform additional duties as directed by the Team Leader
Hours of Work:
Training: Must be able to complete 10 weeks of full-time paid training Monday-Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm (For internal applicants - training is 2 weeks)
Normal working hours: Must be able to work any 8 hour shift between 3:00pm – 11:00pm, any 5 days Monday – Sunday
Start Date: Immediately
Location: 95 Barber Greene Road, Toronto, ON
Must be fluent in English (verbal and written); fluency in French (verbal and written) is considered an asset
Post-secondary education preferred
Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a call centre environment; previous sales experience is considered an asset
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections
Enjoys working independently in a fast paced environment
Strong computer skills and ability to learn and navigate new software quickly
Must possess a professional, friendly and empathetic attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with customers over the phone.
Flexible and adaptable; willing to learn new skills
Fast and accurate typing skills – 30 words per minute required
