Philips Lifeline is a medical alarm service that connects seniors to fast, expert help – 24 hours a day. In the event of an emergency, subscribers are able to directly contact Lifeline by simply pressing a button. A Customer Response Associate responds promptly and professionally to emergency and non-emergency calls from Lifeline subscribers and evaluates what type of assistance is required. While following set protocols, in addition to using personal judgment, the Personal Response Associate will send the appropriate kind of help.
Sort incoming faxes and distribute them to appropriate individuals
Enter appropriate data for installations, changes, cancellations, unit changes and personal help button changes
Verify information that has been entered into the database
Transmit documents to programs by fax
Answer customer service related telephone calls
Responsible for metrics such as turnaround time for CarePlan entry, accuracy of CarePlan information, number of CarePlans entered per shift, and answering phone calls to established metrics
Refill fax machines and printers with paper
Make photocopies when needed
Make photocopies of controlled sheets, new installation forms, change forms and cancellation forms
Start Date: Immediately
Location: 95 Barber Greene Road, Toronto ON M3C 3E9
Training: Must be able to complete 2 weeks of full-time paid training, scheduled Monday – Friday, 9:00pm – 5:00pm
Normal Working Hours: Must be able to work an 8 hour shift between 7:00am – 11:00pm, any 5 days of the week Monday through Sunday
Fluent in English is required (verbal and written)
High school diploma required
1-3 years of data entry experience
Excellent typing skills – 40-45 words per minute required
Excellent customer service skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Computer literacy and experience in Microsoft Windows and with customer database systems
Able to work flexible and off-peak hours is required
